Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Hotel Assistant General Manager to join our team, with housing provided as part of the package. Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of daily hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance teams.
• Supervise and manage hospitality teams to ensure high levels of guest satisfaction and adherence to service standards.
• Implement and monitor hotel management systems such as Property Management Systems (PMS) and hospitality reservation platforms to streamline operations.
• Manage hospitality operations budgets, including revenue management, cost control, and financial reporting.
• Lead human resources functions such as staffing, training, performance evaluations, and ensuring compliance with employment laws.
• Maintain hotel guest service standards by overseeing guest relations, handling escalations, and ensuring memorable guest experiences.
• Coordinate night audit procedures and oversee phone etiquette on multi-line phone systems to ensure professional communication.
• Drive revenue growth through effective sales strategies, upselling techniques, and optimizing occupancy rates.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations while fostering a positive team environment focused on leadership and collaboration.

Experience:

• Proven supervisory experience within the hospitality industry or hotel management roles.
• Strong background in overseeing daily hotel operations with a focus on customer service excellence.
• Experience managing hospitality budgets, financial operations, and revenue management strategies.
• Familiarity with property management systems (PMS), hospitality reservation systems, and night audit procedures.
• Multilingual or bilingual skills are highly desirable for effective communication with diverse guests and teams.
• Demonstrated ability to lead hospitality teams, manage human resources functions, and maintain high guest service standards.
• Excellent managerial communication skills combined with a proactive approach to problem-solving in fast-paced environments.
