Diamond National Investments is hiring an experienced Retail Appliance Salesperson for one of our companies, a family-owned and operated independent appliance retailer serving New Jersey. Schedule

• Sunday through Friday, with Saturdays off
• One additional weekday off every week
• On-site 7–8 hours per day, 5 days per week

Overview

We are seeking experienced appliance industry salespeople to join the retail sales team. The ideal candidate has an established book of business, existing relationships with builders, designers, contractors, or clients, and a proven track record of generating showroom traffic and closing sales.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate and actively pursue sales through existing client relationships and new business development.
• Manage builder, designer, and contractor accounts.
• Drive showroom traffic through proactive outreach and relationship management.
• Close appliance sales and manage customer transactions.
• Meet or exceed sales targets and business generation goals.
• Maintain knowledge of product lines and manufacturer offerings.
• Work collaboratively with showroom team members.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in appliance retail sales (or related retail sales with appliance experience).
• Established book of business and existing client relationships.
• Proven ability to generate consistent sales.
• Knowledge of appliance products and industry standards.
• Ability to work on-site 7–8 hours per day, 5 days per week, Sunday through Friday.
• Willing to transition quickly and contribute immediately.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with dealer management systems and retail software.
• Familiarity with manufacturer SPIFF programs.
• Background with independent dealer cooperatives.

Compensation and Benefits

• Base salary based on experience.
• Performance-based commission on sales, with no cap on earnings.
