Job Description Urgent Care Physician Assistant (PA) - Location: Lafayette, CO
- Setting: Clinic
- Term: 3 months assignment with a potential for extension
- Shift Schedule: Mon-Fri (8a-630p; 930a-8p; 11a-10p) and weekends (8a-6:30p or 830a-7p)
- Pay Rate: $143-$148/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego-based medical staffing agency, is looking for an Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (NP/PA) for a full-time role at a medical center in Lafayette, CO. This role will include providing urgent care services with a focus on triaging and treating higher acuity patients of all ages.

Qualifications of Urgent Care Physician Assistant (PA) : - Active Colorado Physician Assistant License
- Board Certification
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS (American Heart Association)
- COVID vaccine preferred
- 1 year High Acuity Urgent Care experience within the last 3 years preferred
Duties/Responsibilities of Urgent Care Physician Assistant (PA) : - Provide urgent care evaluation and treatment for patients of all ages
- Evaluate and manage ESI Level 3, 4, and 5 patients in a fast-paced urgent care setting
- Perform common urgent care procedures including suturing, incision and drainage, splinting, and toenail removal
- Diagnose and treat a broad range of "bread and butter" urgent care conditions and minor injuries
- Perform focused histories, physical exams, diagnostic evaluations, and treatment plans
- ER experience required ; high-acuity urgent care experience preferred
- No call
